Joint Injections at Church Street Clinic

Initial consultation, assessment with an experienced MSK GP and corticosteroid injection on the same day, if indicated.

Relief for painful joints

Corticosteroid injections can reduce pain and inflammation in a joint or around a tendon, helping you move more freely and get back to the things you enjoy. They're commonly used for knee and shoulder pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger.

Your appointment is with a GP with specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) experience. They'll assess the joint, talk through whether an injection is right for you and, if it is, carry it out at the same appointment - no need for a second visit.
