Initial Rheumatology Appointment
An initial 30 minute video or telephone consultation with Dr Nuttall to discuss your symptoms and background history. Dr Nuttall will ask detailed questions about the presenting complaint and any relevant past diagnoses, medication, family and social history. A limited examination if often possible via video consultation so it will be possible for you to send photos that represent a flare of the condition.
Dr Nuttall will suggest possible causes of the presenting complaint and arrange investigations locally (such as blood tests and imaging) if needed.
A follow up will be arranged to discuss the results, finalise the diagnosis and management plan.
